State of LPD forum

Guys I've came to the conclusion I'm done with the Sports forum atleast for a while! Can't take this rediculous "stuff" anymore! Was talking to Ironlung and he convinced me to hang around and post on the old timers and mens forum, but I can't handle the know it alls on the sports forum!

Tired of getting bashed for speaking about sports and posting my thoughts of games and such! Can't even talk about PV sports anymore without their faithfuls bashing me for speaking out against the Almighty Vikings. As you all know I'm a ex Viking, gave all i had untill my last play my senior year for them! I also believe as being a Viking I should not get bashed for speaking out against things I see they need to improve on.

I know while I was in High School my sports knowledge revolved around the Viking only, and now that I'm out of school I have put all that behind me and now I am not bias to any team in particular. I will always pull for my school, and will always be a viking at heart, but sports are not life nd death. Becoming a ref has showed me there`s more teams out there which work just as hard if not harder. It has just opened my eyes and allowed me to see new perspectives, which in the end has helped my football knowledge. I enjoy just being able to watch football, especially in the LPD.

I am in college now working my tail off to become a teacher, so that one day I can become a coach. There is no District in the world I would rather become a coach in than the LPD! So many memories, so much history, so much tradition that can not and will not be erased.

So for now I just need to step back away from this forum! Not worth getting upset and angry over posters on this forum which believe they were gods gift to football knowledge. This is just a forum to talk about sports, which are meant to be fun and enjoyed.

Maybe those of us who actually respect each other's opinions should do all of our posting on this Old Timer's Forum.

Yeah please don't stop, we need the good ones to provide some sanity. The Clintwood junk the last few days has had me physically ill, so I've been trying to not read or post much of anything anywhere.

This forum keeps me ill as of late. Just seems like some of the most rediculous posting this forum has ever seen has been going on. Too many out there that know way too much, that their knowledge just overwhelms everyone else on here. Ahh I'll hang around in this forum and take to what sane posters we have. But i like for some to actually think. Many are to wound up to go with the flow or think, some think it's easier to let others think for them.
And that is not individual thinking, or speaking a lot of time on here. Plus you have many who have various nicks and just try to mess with others.
You'll get use to it. Just don't let it get to you. We lost a lot of good posters a while back over the same stuff.
Just continue to be you and if some go to far. Do what i do just laugh at them and let it go.
Personally i say things a lot to try to get people to think. I ain't right but i still like to hear others views and opinions.
Just ignore what you can.

Yes Rocketeer you was right about me trying to fire up the devils and every thing I said was none too serious. Just wait til people you've talked to all your life get pissed off at you and practically refuse to talk to you cause they read something on here. Some people need to take a step back and realize it's high school sports it's not the NFL. I'd rather see PV win than the Redskins but I get a lot madder over Redskins games than I do PV games. At PV games I try to watch the game for schemes on both offense and defense more than anything else.
